Thomas S. Monson

Thomas S. Monson (b. August 21, 1927) is the current president and prophet of the LDS religion. He was ordained on February 3, 2008 following the death of Gordon B. Hinckley. Monson became an apostle at age 36 and served as president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles from March 12, 1995 until the death of Hinckley.
