Walter Martin

Dr. Walter Ralston Martin (?-1989) was a prolific Christian apologist and researcher. He was best known for his popular call-in radio program The Bible Answer Man. Martin wrote over a dozen books and many shorter pamphlets and tracts. During his life, Martin was a well known authority on religious cults and new religious movements. His primary work regarding Mormonism was his book The Maze of Mormonism.

Martin was related to Brigham Young through his Mother.

Some notable ministers who sat under Martin's teaching were Kurt Van Gorden and Dr Robert Morey, amongst others.
