Talk:History of Mormonism

Don't you find "history" to be too general, too broad? This could be a history of the the Church, of theology, of the Mormon trek from NY to UT, etc... Or, are you wanting this to serve as a main page for other pages to split off of? Jpb 16:22, 30 November 2005 (PST)

I didn't even think that far, although it sounds fine. I only thought this far: I love my heritage as a Christian, and I don't appreciate "church" being equated with a gigantic organization. I think we should make an effort to refer to Mormonism this way:

The Mormon religion teaches...

Rather than...

The Mormon church teaches...
