It would be helpful to integrate the following:

Mormons seem to only care about the nature and position and status of God as he relates to them and their relationship. They could care less about who God eternally, intrinsically was (i.e. whether or not he was once a sinner), and they could care less about how God relates to the rest of reality, i.e. whether or not he worships another God. "If it doesn't pertain to my salvation, then I don't care." Criticism: This is a very self-centered kind of worship! -Aaronshaf 21:31, 29 August 2006 (PDT)

Hrm....

"Mormons only have regard for what God does and is for them, their relationship, and their sphere of reality. For Mormons, who God intrinsically, eternally is is of little importance, and how God might or does relate to the rest of reality is of little, if any, importance. "

Got this message this morning:

"Aaron. Why are you so hung up on points of doctrine. It sounds to me like you have fallen into the trap of looking beyond the mark. Jesus' basic doctrine was to be kind to each other. That's all he was talking about. You are a Christian if you are kind to people. Mormons are Christians if they are kind to people. End of story. I think you would do a better job if you went and did some work down a soup kitchen instead. Saying that, I do like your questions."
