Gordon B. Hinckley

Gordon B. Hinckley (June 23, 1910 – January 27, 2008) was the 15th President (or Prophet) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has been the Prophet since March 12, 1995. "The architect of the church's vast public relations network, Hinckley has long worked to burnish the faith's image as a world religion far removed from its peculiar and polygamous roots." [1]
